About Us

Nibley Park, which opened in May 1922 after the Nibley family donated the land to Salt Lake City, is the oldest public golf course in Utah. Its central location has made it a popular destination for city dwellers and tourists, offering breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. Fairways and greens are guarded by mature trees, many of which were planted before the early pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City.

Golf Course Cafe Operations

Effective September 1, 2021, our existing concessionaires will no longer be managing the cafés at Bonneville, Forest Dale, Glendale, Nibley Park, or Rose Park. As a courtesy to our valued customers, Salt Lake City Golf will be operating the cafés and offering breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks at all facilities.

- No beer or alcohol will be available for purchase until further notice

- No cash transactions will be allowed – credit cards or gift cards only

- No tipping is allowed – all café employees are now Salt Lake City employees and may not accept tips or gratuities

The Sandwedge Café at Mountain Dell will not be affected by any of these changes.

We hope to have new concessionaires in place by spring and we appreciate your support and understanding during the transition period. Please visit one of our cafés for breakfast or lunch soon!
